At Labdeers we are experienced in developing of innovative technologies for plant science with the focus on the non-invasive automated analysis of seeds. For this reason we established Seed Phenotyping Centre where we provide expert service and make the newest high-end technology including our prototypes available for plant research.
In the Phenotyping Centre we provide state-of-art technology for plant science based on automated high-throughput seed phenotyping among various plant species with seed size starting at 80um. This allows hitherto unavailable possibilities of precise work with clearly defined seed samples even for plant species such as Arabidopsis.
The key infrastructure of Seed Phenotyping Centre is based on technological-farm of Boxeed instruments, operating under the sterile environment. Professional technical and scientific support from Labdeers device developers to genetic engineers is a matter of course. Thanks to this, the latest prototypes and improvements are constantly being included to the Seed Phenotyping Center.

SCANNING
2D image analysis from 0° and 90° degree projection.
ANALYSIS
Seed biomass, morphometry and fluorescence intensity measurement.
SORTING, COUNTING, INDIVIDUAL PLACING
Seeds are placed to tubes or multi-well plates based on measured traits, preset thresholds or simply independently on seed parameters.
DATA & STATISTICS
Raw data are available immediately in the moment of processing. Further stored and ready to download or analyze in our cloud using interactive graphical tools.
SHIPMENT
After processing all provided seeds are sent back in terms of days.
